Congratulations. You've found a no-longer-hidden page on the Valerie & Walter Crockett website.
This page may grow into a bunch of pages, depending on how lazy/busy we are.
The two photos display Jackson Crockett's duct tape suit. He made it himself, by cutting strips of duct tape and ironing it on a pair of pants and a T-shirt. The two-color duct tape tie was ironed to another tie. The pants are actually silver, but they look black in these photos.
He also took an old pair of shoes and duct taped them so they looked silver. These were the pieds de resistance.
Because of a controversy too involved and petty to detail on this website, the issue of whether Jackson could wear his duct tape suit to the Burncoat High School semi-formal on Friday, Nov. 15, 2001, ended up on the principal's desk. (Jackson had worn a tinfoil outfit the year before with no consequences.) The principal nixed the duct tape suit, so Jackson got his money back and went to a concert that evening instead.
